Singapore is the fourth largest foreign exchange trading center in the world, has a well-established financial system and tax advantages, and is one of the very few countries with a Standard & Poor's AAA credit rating. Singapore is a leader not only in international finance, trade investment, marine finance, insurance, and treasury operations, but also in asset and wealth management. One-third of the Fortune 500 companies have chosen to set up their Asian headquarters in Singapore, and it is also the preferred location for companies from Europe, the US, Japan and other countries to set up their Asian headquarters; and a platform for Asian companies to enter the global market. As an active promoter of the RCEP Agreement (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership), the world's largest free trade area, Singapore is committed to developing more comprehensive and in-depth economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges with China and other countries.
With the historical period of RCEP development, APIB will organise various international study tours every year from time to time, leading participants to explore this diverse international city, meet face-to-face with international business leaders, visit top international institutions such as National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, and gain more business opportunities and networking resources.
